In the summer of 1999 Crystal Computing worked on data from the 1996 census for the Social Planning Council of Ottawa-Carleton. The data was entered into Excel 97 spreadsheets and also analysed with SAS. Later in 2000 the data was used to make demographic maps of Ottawa-Carleton using ArcView 3.1.
Much discussion of these data has occured and Peter continues to work with agencies in Ottawa-Carleton and volunteers on the Board of Directors of the Psychiatric Survivours of Ottawa. The data is copyright to the Council.
Peter's friends continue to seek his assitance in getting hooked up to the Internet. In 1999, he hooked up a musician friend and helped him build a web site for his band.
He continues to publish his girls friends poems on the web at her web site.
He also talks with friends about web publishing everyweek. And some of our sites are interlinked.
